Caring for Teens Exchange


Are you an immigrant or newcomer to Canada and interested in learning about how to support your teenage family member?
Springtide Resources and ACCESS ALLIANCE Present the Caring for Teens Exchange
The Caring for Teens Exchange is a 10-week program that provides information, resources and a safe place for adults over 19 years to talk about your experiences caring for teens who are 12-19 years old.
Some educational topics include:
• Supporting Teens at School and Work
• Health and Disability
• Dreams and Expectations
• Communication and Social Media
• Conflict Resolution and Setting Boundaries
• Child Welfare and Immigration
 
Starting January 17, 2019, Wednesdays 1:00pm-3:00pm
Location:  Access Alliance, 3079 Danforth, Scarborough
Amazing Guest Speakers, language interpreters, TTC tokens, and snacks are provided
