Elections Ontario is doing a drive to make sure people are registered to vote (e.g new voters , people who have changed addresses. Some are vulnerable to being off voting lists (e.g youth who turn 18 and homeless people etc). Everyone has a right to vote! Applications are now being accepted for the TCDSB’s Focus on Youth program. The FOY program provides TCDSB students living within the identified Neighbourhoods Improvement Areas with the opportunity to earn two secondary credits (Coop) while they are employed with the FOY program during the summer.

CREATING YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES AND APPRENTICESHIPS Hammer Heads is a 12 week comprehensive skills development program that introduces youth to several different construction trades while developing skills important to successful long lasting careers in construction. The program is comprised of safety training, hands-on skills development, mentoring and coaching and represents a life-changing journey for our participants.
