Applications are now being accepted for the TCDSB’s Focus on Youth program. The FOY program provides TCDSB students living within the identified Neighbourhoods Improvement Areas with the opportunity to earn two secondary credits (Coop) while they are employed with the FOY program during the summer.

CREATING YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES AND APPRENTICESHIPS Hammer Heads is a 12 week comprehensive skills development program that introduces youth to several different construction trades while developing skills important to successful long lasting careers in construction. The program is comprised of safety training, hands-on skills development, mentoring and coaching and represents a life-changing journey for our participants.

Description: Looking for young women in Grades 11 & 12 (Age 16 to 18) who are planning to attend prom in 2018. These young women represent the beauty of diversity and challenge the Prom Queen stereotype. We are looking for women of all different shapes, sizes, ethnicity, religion, personality, etc. Young women who have an opinion, perspective or a story to share. From the most flamboyant to the most timid, these are our Queens!
